DreamWasTaken, the pseudonym used by American player Clay on YouTube for Minecraft videos, is a fantastic example of this. Dream started playing video games as a kid and launched an YouTube page where he could show his gameplay playing through. Dream has collaborated with BadBoyHalo (a friend of his) and GeorgeNotFound. George and Dream have been reported to be in a relationship. Dream is yet to reveal his face and uses his avatar from gaming in all of his online presences. DreamWasTaken started his career on social media by playing games. He is primarily responsible for Minecraft playthroughs as well as commentary videos on YouTube and other platforms. Thanks to the YouTube channel Dream was able to rise to the top of the list. It was first launched the 8th February of 2014. Over 675 thousand people have joined the channel, with over 584 000 views. He also worked with BadBoyHalo for his YouTube Minecraft videos.
